Today was my "Think Pink - Shave my head party". I had invited my closest friends and family - to share in this - what was proably a tramatic day for some - but during the day I was teary - but when it came time to do it - I was like, lets cut haircuts before we buzz it off - but I wanted to be in control of it - not the cancer to take it.....so thats what we did!My son took pictures, and video - I will try to figure out how to put them up. I was told as Sue kept cutting and buzzing - that no matter how I wore my hair it looked good - well now I have No hair - and I think my head is an ok shape. Although my head is kinda cold - its a wierd feeling - not a headache - although I should definetly have one of those - way alot of Jello shots (thanks Barb) and some raspberry vodka drink like punch (thanks Shannon) and of course my new favorite Mikes hard cranberry! I want to thank all of my friends/family for coming and making my day special - a sad day, but - It's all good!!
Saturday its water, water, water - until my "reunion" from Waterford Halfmoon HS at Mcgrievy's
But first go get my wigs at Caruso's in Watervliet. ~
