I had an appointment with Dr. Hena to be sure that everything looked good to him after the surgery - he mentioned that I would probably get the drains out soon! I was excited about that - he said I was healing nicely - and keep working on the arm. After surgery you could get tightness in your arm.
I went to see Dr. Gannon who removed my drains today – whoo hoo. Felt like snakes coming out of under my arm pit – (small snakes) – thanks for the analogy Heidi! I felt like a new woman – whew – I still favor my right arm, but since the surgery its numb from my elbo up to my shoulder, it feels kinda numb. I asked her if I could drive – she said yes, but no motorcycle for 2+ weeks maybe….ugh – I know its because I cant that I want to more – ever been told you cant – ugh! Although the other bright side of that visit was that I got a “fill-up” of saliComposene – into my expander – yippee! I cant watch her do it though – I’ve never seen a syringe that big – holy cow!
