Second Chemo treatment - ok, today I met a woman named Dr. O - she's a pediatrician -her husband was with her - she goes every 3 weeks, amazing how they come up with schedules for everyone - and what works....I got to the NYDOH at 9am - I have to get bloods drawn - I drank 5 bottles of water prior to going so they got my blood no problem!! then after blood - I go meet with the nurse practitioner just to go over my results for platelet levels - they were all good. - Then to chemo itself - this time I got section 1 these chairs didnt have heaters/massagers...hmmm...anyway - Judy was my nurse today- she gives me two nausea meds thru my port, then 3 syringes of chemo then I asked for a relaxing medicine that makes me very relaxed...then cytoxin and then flush Im done! I left there about 12:20pm.
On way to walmart - I needed hangers so now I can do laundry (eww) but and I bought sons of anarchy I cant wait to watch it!!
Came home had lunch - and now I have a headache - so I am going to nap now - its 3:25pm - if I nap until 5:00pm - Im going to have a friend come over for dinner.
I feel pretty good right now -
